Chongbang Group is a real estate investment and development consortium that was founded in 2003 through the collaboration of investors from Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, and the Netherlands, alongside experienced real estate professionals.
Since its establishment, Chongbang has focused exclusively on retail-anchored mixed-use projects in Shanghai and surrounding areas within the Yangtze River Delta region. To date, the Group has undertaken nine such projects: seven in Shanghai, one in Kunshan (Suzhou), and one in Hangzhou. For each project, Chongbang takes on multiple roles, including co-investor, project manager, marketing/sales/leasing manager, property/center manager, and asset manager.
Our completed projects range from 80,000 to 800,000 square meters in GFA, including: Life Hub @ Daning (Jing’an District), Life Hub @ Jinqiao (Pudong New District), Sinan Mansions (Huangpu District), Life Hub @ Anting Phases 1&2 (Jiading District), Life Hub @ Upbund (Hongkou District), The INLET (Hongkou District), Life Hub @ Kunshan (Suzhou), and Life Hub @ Hangzhou.
Our latest development, Life Hub @ Bund Central, is located at the intersection of Sichuan North Road and Haining Road in Hongkou District. This retail-anchored mixed-use project features a newly built 100,000 square meters super high-rise office tower, a 110,000 square meters commercial podium and a cluster of preserved heritage buildings totaling 14,000 square meters in GFA.
With a development philosophy focused on urban regeneration, historical preservation, and commercial revitalization, the project aims to create an innovative urban lifestyle hub that blends traditional commerce with tourism, cultural elements, technological integration, and ecological considerations for the Sichuan North Road business district. The INLET, the commercial component of the heritage buildings, commenced operations in late 2021, and with full-project operation is anticipated by the end of 2025.
